About the Inside Georgia Music Podcast
Inside Georgia Music is a monthly podcast* produced by the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon, Georgia. Inside Georgia Music is hosted by Nick Purdy, Founding Publisher of Decatur, Ga.-based Paste magazine and also features news, commentary and a travel segment from Hall of Fame Executive Director Lisa Love. Each episode features a variety of segments all devoted to one thing: Spotlighting the great music of Georgia and the people that make it.
Each month, Inside Georgia Music features live artist interviews, new songs, Georgia music news, historical audio from the Georgia Music Hall of Fame archives and “Roam,” devoted to music festivals and other happenings around the state. Artist interviews range from conversations with legends and Hall of Fame inductees, to up-and-coming Georgia artists that are commanding attention.
Inside Georgia Music is available as an MP3 download or via iTunes. Listeners can subscribe to either version or download each episode individually. Previous episodes can be downloaded here.
